Default Z400 CDI? which one to get.....

Just out of curiousity which brand of CDI is everyone running on their Z400? I have a Dynojet jet kit, Dr. D. exhaust, K&N filter and no air box lid. I want to get the most and this is probably the last "motor mod" i will do to it. Essentially i want it for the extra RPM and to override that darn reverse rev limiter. Also i hear they change the whole ignition curve (sounds beneficial EX: lugging a gear) So a few notes.
How many RPM is to much for the stock motor? 1000k extra?
Do i really need an adjustable one?
Will it help the performance of my performance parts alrdy?
And does it have a good curve for trails and dunes?

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
P.S. if you suggest a brand please try to answer the above questions

I have the Advantage Rev Max adjustable CDI and I love the difference. You should be fine going +1000 rpms with your mods but I wouldn't recommend the +2000 available on some of the adjustables. Some people say you should put in some stiffer valve springs but I've talked to quite a few who don't think it's necessary unless you get into the motor and I still have the stockers in mine. However, I wouldn't recommend keeping it in that +1000 range for extended periods of time. I've heard the Dyna is great but you will pay for it. You can pickup one like mine for around $150 -$160 and a non-adjustable one for $30 - $40 less. Last I saw the Dyna was something like $350-$400 but it is claimed to give you a little more umph. I ride mostly in the dunes and it allows me to lug it more and will hang onto a gear longer than with the stock CDI. I tried the different curves and settled on the one that gives more low to mid punch which I think is the curve that comes on the non-adjustable ones. The nice thing about the adjustable is you can use the three curves (basically stock, top-end, low-mid, and stock rpm, +1000 and +2000) and quickly change them. That way if you have someone you let ride your quad, you can switch to the stock rpm if you are concerned about them constantly bumping up against the rev limiter.

One thing to remember when you have an aftermarket CDI is make sure you have a fully charged battery. Once the battery won't hold a full charge it will run like crap. Keep the stock one with you so if it happens you will have a better chance of being able to ride it with a low/dead battery.

if the white broshead pipe is a full system, yes .but if your just trading one slip-on for another ,your better leaving it the way it is .rejet to a 160 or 165 ,depends on elevation as to which one will be best.
the rev box will impress you
