Warn Bumper Installed on Eiger
#1
I installed the Warn Front bumper and fog lights this weekend. Kind of strange mounting but was suprised how stout it was when done. Modifiedthe factory plastic skid plate which really helps keep debris out of hitting the front diff. Also makes it look cleaner.(Not in the instructions as they say to remove). Also found a cleaner way to wire the lights so they all come on with the light switch rather than mounting another switch.
I do want to apologize that I did not photograph it and add to my gallery. I was a knucklehead and forgot my camera and my quad stays up at our place where it snows.
Overall the look is pretty nice and different. I will snap smome photos soon

While I'm replying to the other Eiger threads... might as well make it three in a row.
Why'd you change your bumper? Does it change your approach angle clearance? I'd like to eliminate that drastic overhange a little more. Ditching the factory plastics did some good, but there's always room for improvement, unless it adds weight.

Aksafari,
I did it for a couple of reasons, Neither which were for performace gains really. One is I liked the looks, the other was the fog lights are cleanly mounted in the bumper and really added some extra lighting. it was a cheap $130 bucks to be different and make the front look nicer.
Other than that, I thought I would post and give the bumper a "thumbs up" for anybody considering it. The bumper adds about 20lbs.

I know. I thought the same thing, But again I am not doing anything crazy with this deal, it is a "work and play". I just crossed the 100 mile mark 3 weeks ago. Most of that has been property clean up and snow plowing. 100 Miles in 2.5 years.....I do not plan on any engine performance mods. I have to have this work. It works perfectly now. Been down the road of modifying something to the point it is now a project and not a user friendly.

For anybody interested, I added pics to my gallery of the Warn bumper and lights installed and the modified Suzuki brush guard to keep the front looking clean.
