cheap upgrades for z400

Default cheap upgrades for z400

hey, i want to get more power out of my z 400 but dont have to money to. n e 1 got any tips for cheap upgrades?

get a k and n air filter and take off ur air box lid and maybe a high compression piston

Default cheap upgrades for z400

take the airbox lid off and buy a set of jets. ~$20

buy a DRZE base gasket (raises the compression 1 point to 12.2:1) $15

buy a used slipon or full pipe. $100-$150

I have a used yoshi full exhaust that I dont need and a big gun rev limiter too

do what black kawi says but if u run in mud alot dont take ur airbox lid off. take ur baffle out of ur muffler. might have to break the weld of the endcap but helps a lil

you can also try messing with the sprockets for more top end or better acceleration whatever you are looking for.
