Default wow z400 problem

Hey, i was hearing some noises coming from timing chain when i was driving so i took the cover off took a look and it was worn out so i thought okay just a worn out timing chain no biggie. i then went to change my oil and when i started to let the oil out i saw little metal peices going out with the oil, first thing to come to my head was the timing chain flopping around and broke something so then i took off the clutch cover and saw more metal peices so then i took the clutch off and i took a look at the back of the clutch basket and there is 3 or 4 missing teeth. I was just wondering if is common for a z400

it has 3 guides, 1 on each side and 1 between the cam gears, and by the way you found missing teeth on the clutch basket looks like broken basket or gear
