I have a 94 ltf250,2wd,overnight i started havin a problem getting it started,[usually starts up as soon as i hit starter switch].Now i have to choke it hard and after a bit it starts,smell a bit of gas for a minute then it runs fine,runs out good in all gearsbut when i shut it off i still have to hit choke to get it started again,I,m not a mechanic by any means but not afraid to turn wrench.Can any of u experts tell me what direction to go in order to fix problem?
Little histoy on quad is i installed new plug about 300 mi ago,cleaned filter and oiled foam filter ,changed oil about 3 weeks ago,ran fine till it sat out overnight on trailer in downpour to go deer hunting.Any info u give may be of help,Thanks in advance,Paul

 

check gas for water. drain the tank and carb, pull the fuel hose off at the carb or petcock to drain the tank. to rain the carb take out the plug on the bottom of the float bowl. hope this helps
