Default Belt intakes and slipping

I have a 2005 King 700, I have taken this in more than crazy places. Why does the belt drive have an intake and an exhuast? campared ot just a breathing tube? I will disect it tomorrow. and i will have snorkels on soon. Also, wiht all this where the hell is the fuel air intake, I assumed it was right about under the dash. I have had my quad up to the bars in mud and water. and only twice had slippage after. If anyone can help and any sugestions please post or email me srnick34@yahoo.com
Iread in some old post that we should never take the machine in water deeper than the tire isa tall? YA RIGHT, mine lives at that deapth and if it didnt then I wouldnt own one. I lvoe it, one hell of a machine.
Thanx
Dean

Default Belt intakes and slipping

Well got it all set, the intakes on the belt D is for cooling, I kinda guessed. the front intake is the one I have taken care of. they could have made this little better, have seen ones with PVC but if/when/and once again I roll it then good bye. At home depot I found nice plyable rubber tubeing. works the *****. The exughust end, just need ot remeber if your stuck deep. keep your rps up a little, a litttle!!!! it does blow out anything trying to get in. but just incase I am put a one way rubber valve there. is a big one son should not have nay troubles. and yup the fuel air intake is just above your junk/goodie bag/sack/ your ***** (if you have a pair
Well I have nice deep brook in my back yard, when the work is dry I will go test it, Something to remember. Keep your ***** dry!!!!!!!!!
