exhaust and jetting...!!

ok, ive already oreded my rossier exhaust for the z, and my exhaust will be in friday, and my christmas parade is that evining, and i was really hopin to show the new exhaust off in the parade....i know i will have time after school, to get my exhaust on, but i want have enough time to re-jet that evin, would it hurt to just ride it through the parade that evin, wi....thout re-jettin, i know i want have quite the power that its should bring, but i want even be gettin out of 2 gear, ...so will it hurt????...

On the carb there should be two screws. One is going to be idle speed control the other is going to be idle mixture. If you can get to it, I would start the quad up and while idleing, screw the idle mixture screw out about a half a turn. If the idle speed goes up you know your going in the right direction.
Doing this is not manditory and your quad should run just fine without doing this. The only thing this will do is give the engine a little more fuel at idle.
After you do your parade thing you should go out and do a plug chop to see where your jetting is at and jet it appropriately.

lol...thanks for all the replys, guys, really helps, yeah, ill do that, ill turn that screw out a lil,,,,See i ordeerd the jets with the exhaust, i just want be able to get them on in time for the parade, im goin to take it the next day to the suzuki shop and let them jet-it...yea, id say they will need ear plugs, i heard the exhaust is preety dang loud.....Just have to wait and see when i get it on..

I agree with Dr. Turbo and bombrider... it won't hurt it.
And re-jetting isn't too hard. It is just time consuming. So if you want to save a few bucks, I would do it your self, but if you don't have time or whatever, then definately take it to the dealer!
