eiger plastic clips

Default eiger plastic clips

is anyone else having problems with the plastic clips on the fenders breaking off? thanks for any response.

Luckily no. Ive taken mine apart numerous times and they still work. I've heard others buy the Honda ones when they break as they are cheaper though.

thanks, i was thinking of just using loose fitting bolts so the plastic can still "move".

You can also buy similar ones at auto parts stores for cheaper than you get at the dealership...

I have not had them break, but I have lost 4 or 5.

I went to the dealer to buy some and they recommended the Honda ones also. They where $1 each for a bag of 10 but the Honda ones work a little better than the ones that came with it.

Hey Lizard,

Are y'all talking about clips or the small round pop rivets that secure the engine cover? I priced them at a Suzuki dealer that wanted a buck 89 each. Man thats robbery.

Shooter, I'd avoid bolts. If you hit something hard enough your plastic will rip. Amphib, I was talking about the plasic rivets that you have to push in the center to release.

I get mine at Auto Zone...Not the exact same thing but pretty close and a LOT cheaper.
