LT-R450 considered illegal
#1
The maximum wheelbase width for an atv on a Wisconsin trail is 48 inches, that sucks since my LT-R450 came stock at 50.6 inches. Do you think this is going to cause a problem? I cant imagine a dnr office is going to stop me on the trail and pull out a tape measure. At least i hope he doesn't Any suggestions on saving about 2 inches? I could turn the wheels inside out. Anyone have this issue? Anyone have any advise?

I doubt they would stop you or anything, but you might want to flip the wheels just to see what it measures too just in case they do complain, then you can just flip them over if need be.

Wow, it's hard to imagine a quad with over 2 and half inches wider than my quad.

And on certain models the valves stems don't get in the way, flip them and see.

they do come offset stock, but i found that if turned around the sttel bracer would not be where it is supposed to be. Over time the rim would bend and become egg shaped. I checked the specs...50 inches and then measured it 50 inches.
