Default Traded for a new King Quad today

I traded my 04 Vinson today for a black King Quad. I am thinking of getting better tires on it before I pick it up. Anyone hve any sugestions or pics? I am also thinking of the TFI and high flow airfilter. Does anyone have this setup?

First thing, toss the stock air cleaner and get yourself a Twin-Air foam filter.
Then just have fun with it.
See the 'accessories' thread here for tips.

Did you get the 450 or the 700? I have my eye on the 450 and wonder how is stacks up the Vinson in power.

Like everyone mention, the stock filter sucks. Problem is it doen't filter.

However, if you don't like the idea of an oiled foam filter that will have to be cleaned and oiled regularly, you can order the Heavy-Duty filter from your Suzuki dealer. It's pre-oiled, and doesn't need cleaning or re-oiling. MUCH, MUCH better at filtering, and doesn't let dust thru. If you want, I can get the part # and post it.

Why AMSC came up with a solution for the filter problem and not install in on the KQ is beyond me. Other than it will take longer than 6 mos on average to suck enuff dust it to ruin the top end, thereby making you buy lots of part and service, or buy a new quad. In fact, my dealer didn't even know the filter existed. Now he buys the HD filter and installs them on the KQs before he sells them.

I replaced the filter but still missing the low end power should I be cleaning something like injectors or something. I changed the filter and the pipe and still not back where i was at stock
