The Raptor350 is not junk, and it should not be too slow for you, especially coming off a 250ex.

It is also not heavy, it is the same weight as a z400.

They are good trail machines and are nothing like the old Warrior.

But the z400 is a far better performance machine. The z400 is quite a bit faster than the Raptor350 and if you have a need to go fast pick the z400.

The z400 was designed at the time to win races, the Raptor350 was designed to be a trail machine. It is only since the 450s came onto the market that the z400 became the trail machine of choice.....

if i was you i'd be getting the z400...the z400 might be a lil on the big size for you. However your 14 and your still going to grow, probably a lot. Get the 350rap and you'll be bored in less then a year, get the Z and you wont get bored of it on the trails

if a Z is a bit too much $$, look into a 400ex....almost just as good and still better then the 350rap

I agree to go with the Z. My 11 y/o son has a 350 Raptor and does very well, but he has no problems riding my Z400 anywhere. But he is a little crazy. He runs the hell outta my friends V-force 700 too. Since you have prior experience, the 400 will not be too much for you. go for it

go with the z400. when my buddy and i pre-ran a race, my z400 was a lot faster than the 350 and more reliable. i went over 100 miles and he broke down around 40.
