how do I find out what type of 4wheeler that I have?

Default how do I find out what type of 4wheeler that I have?

I will post some pics tomorro on my profile and thanks for the info but where is the serial # on this thing where would it be located

I would think it should be on the frame somewhere.... possibly stamped on it.

Ok.......after a little computer research it looks like it may be either a LT-F230G shaft drive made between 1985-1987 or a LT230G made from 85-86........hope this helps a little ...best I could do[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Check out themotorbookstore.com and look at the clymer manuals for the lt 230 and there is one on the cover although that one has racks on it!!

yup that is a 1985-86 suzuki LT230 quadrunner, i have two...mine have racks on it and electric start...im thinkin mine is a year or so newer then yours....

Boss....my stepson looked at your pics and he said it looks like a 160 or 180..bit you can check the cylinder fins to see iof it is stamped on the motor anywhere. Hope this helps!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Also..is it chain or shaft drive???

Default how do I find out what type of 4wheeler that I have?

looks like a lt160 or lt125 to me. Look on the engine it will have 3 numbers stamped on the side on the cylinder where the air fins are and it will have cm3 after the numbers.

David...were these models shaft or chain drive? cause i think a friend of mine might have one as well that he said he was going to part out.
