86 lt250r wont start help

Default 86 lt250r wont start help

my 86 was running great then no spark i replaced the stock stator w/ new ricky stator 130w i aligned the arrow on the case w/ the hash mark on the stator i now have spark and compression but will not start any help would be great .......thnx

is fuel getting to it? when you take out the plug is it wet?

Could be a # of things.First off try a new plug.Yours maybe fouled.If that dont work pull your fuel line from carb and turn fuel on.Should flow freely.Check intake gasket for leaks check head and base gasket for seapage and or leaks.Try a compression test.If all checks out then look at your ignition wire and see if it hasn't wiggled loose and is producing blue fat spark.Whenever my lt acts up like this it is usually a fouled plug.Especially since you replaced electrical parts may have fried your old plug.Good luck and let us know how it turns out.You can get NGK spark plugs at most automotive stores.I run BR9ES Good luck
