So summer is coming around and i figured in needed a good skid plate for trail riding. Then i looked up skid plates and found that they are like $80+ So i went and crawled under my quad (ltr450) wheni had it on jack stands and meassured out the chassis. I took the measurements and cut out i piece of cardboard and pretended it to be a real skid plate everything looked real good. Some time in the next week my roomate is gonna take my measurement to school and enter it in the cnc plasma cutter. And i have an aluminum skidplate for $15 if it all works out. If anyone wants i can post the measurments online and get some pics.

i can get it cut at any thickness, i think i'll go with 3/16
