i highley doubt if it was a 680cc motor it was still the original one, prob a engine swap which no longer makes it a quadzilla in my eyes. and i have NEVER had any problems with my 87 ( the year with weak head studs) Zilla.

 

first of all, yes they are both stock, which is hard to belive since their so freakin old but the 250r was just recentley restored and the zilla is fast enough stock so he's happy. i just talked to my freind with the zilla and he just stomped a yfz450 the other day, so i know who im gonna put my money on. thanx for the help, i didnt know much about the zillas.

 

After your friend with the 250R gets beat tell him not to give up hope.I've seen 250R that can outrun zillas but he will have to sink some money into his 250r to do it.

 

Nothing stock could touch a quadzilla.

i had a friend with a honda 250 R three wheeler and he was damn near untouchable at the dunes!! he had a crap load of stuff done but i'm tellin ya the 250 R's can move!! i have an LT 250 R and it's pretty fast without too much done!! nothing compared to the zilla stock for stock but they can be close if modded right!!!

 

650cc's is do-able.... never heard of a 680 ?

they must have been some SLOW sleds because a sled should kill a quad on ice.
