I was just wondering, wats the max speed on a stock z250?

 

Anywhere from 47 or so up to 53.

 

really? cuz my friend has a 150cc HI-BIRD and i think he said his runs around the 40s or 50s.


Witch do you think would win? is their a possiblity that a 150 could be a z250?

 

His estemations are off. THe z250 will easily win.

 

I have a 1986 lt230s with midrange cam,10:1 piston,chromoly valve springs,k&n air filter,dg exhaust. I got it to run 66 mph wide open on 22" mud machines last winter.

 

i raced one recentley and my guess is around 48, if more then that then not by much.

 

oh cuz just today i was ridding on one and, i also tried my friends 150 and to me their really wasnt a difference they both seem the same speed to me.

 

mine goes 55 mph

 

how many gears does it have? like speeds 4 speed or 5 speed?

cuz my cousin told me his was a 4 speed so i only whent to 4 gear and it wasnt that fast, it didnt seem faster than a 150. To me i think the 150cc that i rode today was faster than that z250 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] Well thats just me but the 150 was an automatic and the z250 was clutch.

 

the z250's are 5 speed and they don't have a clutch they are semi automatic
