Default more 230 quadsport help

Does anoyone know how to set the cam timing on these bikes? I can't find an inspection window to see a timing mark on the crank anywhere. I've tried 180 degrees both ways and can't get it to fire up.

Also, anyone know the headbolt torque?

should be a lil circle on your top chain sprocket if not on the hole that the cam sprocket bolts on to theres two lines that line up with top of head the flatness ..... these are on the camshaft if u take out rubber plug they are there

No I mean the mark on the crankshaft / magneto.... I can't find when the spark fires so I know which way to put the cam. Or does it fire everytime the piston comes to TDC???

when u remove the mag cover in the top area theres a lil > like that but sideways built into cases u line up t with that and line up top gear as mentioned !!!! make sure that your keyway for flywheel didnt slip cause it happened to me once and bought a lot of stuff over a 94 cent key and im not positive but think it fires every time

I'm betting it fires every TDC then... How else would it know compression stroke from exhaust stroke? So, it doesn't matter where the crank is as long as the piston is TDC and the cam marks flat with the head.

Yeah, I got spark... Not a fat blue one, but the plug is old too. I never had the mag cover off so I couldnt have lost a key. The gear shifter is welded on and I didnt want to grind off the weld to remove the cover. I just put a new 60 over piston in and was wondering how to time the cam before I got it all back together. I'll just go ahead n put it together n go from there.
