I was going to put the cylinder back on my quadracer but I noticed that one of the coolant holes is plugged off by the new gasket between the base and the cylinder. The old gasket plugged it off too, but it looks like the last guy that had it apart poked a hole through it. Should I leave it like that or put a hole so coolant can flow through?

no, as its not a coolant hole. its a dummie hole, and no coolant flows through there. don't bother poking it out, as it doesn't do anything. only the 85-86 have 2 coolant holes
