Default New Z400, Questions?

i don't know if i agree with theCATman
, he said "There is a product for 4 barrel carbureted car/truck engines that does the same thing as the Power Now valve does, it's straightens & smoothes out the airflow, and it too works. The "tornado" thing is crap. The smoother, straighter, & faster air can get into an engine, the more power that engine will make. You don't want the air tumbling or spinning. "

i recently put a tornado on my Z ,there is still further testing and pruffing to do dyno's with a AF are hard to come by . after doing a dyno AF check , i had to rejet the air jet to a 27.5 and move the needle to the 7th position with spacer, i will also be putting in a 177.5 main jet small round ,may have to go to a 180 but i dout it.

my settings were 175 main ,25 air jet , DJ needle 4th position with spacer.

ya, only a repeat on the dyno will prove if its doing whats claimed but so far i cant say its not hurt any thing . more air+ more gas = more power

2) the power now valve works nothing like the car product you are talking about. If you do not know, do not give your opinion. I have one on my bike and it does make a difference. thanks.
LTZGUY, please don't read any malicious intent on my part against your first post. That is my opinion, and exactly what I would have posted whether you had participated in this thread or not. As for Powernow products, that is my opinion. I did state many of the bike and quad mags have raved about them, but I am not blowing $100-200.00 to find out for myself. I would be interested in some dyno proof that they do anything though.
