Welcome to the forums and wish ya luck with your 450...How do you like her sofar?..Well if you are getting a cherry bomb you will not need to get a computer as that is the computer and you can just gut the baffles of the stock exhaust and get yourself an airfilter, but I would stick with the foam to be honest...I love K&N's until I heard of them allowing too much dirt get through and ruining 450r's because the dirt sticks on the valves and bye bye engine...So take out the baffles, foam filter, and a cherry bomb and you should be seeing some good gains...Make sure you keep up with maintanance with the 450 as they are high tech machines and keep a log of how long you road the quad and maintanance etc...On my Honda I change my oil about every 5 hrs, but it also takes less then a qt of oil and I also change my tranny fluid about that often which I believe you won't have to worry about...Just keep up with it and it should be a reliable machine...Wish ya luck.

I forgot to mention you can take the airbox lid off when you get the cherry bomb, but check the airfilter regularly to make sure shes clean.

Congrats on your purchace. It's a great machine.
I like the yoshi pipe. It's fairly quiet.
Filter: K&N is fine but Sparks (and others) make a foam filter to put on over tha K&N. It's a good set-up!
If not the foam, a "outerwears" is a must have over a K&N.
Have fun on your LTR! :
