4-wheel drive cable

Default 4-wheel drive cable

wayout,here; anybody know how to adjust the cable,mine got stuck in 4wheel drive,i've got it working,want to know how to do it right.wayout,out....................

Default 4-wheel drive cable

There is an adjustment right where the cable goes under the plastic. It has a rubber cover. If you need more info just ask.

buddy i know where the adjustment is,just don't know how to adjust it,read my thread,i'm wanting to know how to adjust it, i had to adjust the one my 2002 a couple of times,can't remember just how to do it,maybe you could elaborate just a little bit!!

Default 4-wheel drive cable

Try this, it is straight from the service manual:

keep the transfer lever in '4WD' position
Turn out the adjuster slowly until resistance is felt. Then, turn out the adjuster one more turn from that position
Tighten the locknut and set the boots.


This is under the installation or the transfer cable.
