what is up with this parking brake.. i was told it doesnt even work ... then explain why suzuki would put this on a Z?

 

It works. Of course the only time I used mine was the day the place I bought it from rode it up into the back of my truck. But it was working when I got home, so took off the brake and I don't think I've used it once in two years...

 

it never worked for me so I just put it in gear if I need to keep it from moving for a short period of time...

 

Most people just plain take it off lol its a total waste hahah

 

take it off and put a block off plate on it.....its junk

 

use it to make a rear brake hand lever under ur clutch. u can do cool wheelies with feet over bars and still have brake access.

 

Mine has worked flawlessly since day one. You need to adjust it correctly and make sure it's released before you ride. If not you'll ruin in no time!

 

ok thanks.. but i think the previous owner of my quad must have rode with the p/brake on cause it isnt even wantin to work when i adjust it..

 

you dont need it. put a blockoff plate on it. that was the very first thing i did to mine. you need the bike to stay still....put it in gear. Everyone I know has taken thier off. its useless and wear out the rear brakes faster.
