Default Eiger running to rich

I have a 06' Eiger and I pulled the carb off because I was going to rejet it but I couldn't find the jets I wanted so I just cleaned it and put it back on. Before it acted like it was runing lean but now it idles real rough and has black smoke coming out, I called a shop and they said it was running rich. I've had the carb off and cleaned it 3 times now and still the same thing I also have tried adjusting the mix screw from where it was (1 7/8 turns) down to 1/2 turn and all the way out to 3 turns and it still does the same thing. Has anyone had this problem or have any suggestions on what to try?

Wow,

That is the first Topic I've ever read about an Eiger being too rich from the factory

Since you've had the carb apart a few times, check to make sure the vent line running up under the seat behind the airbox snorkle is not kinked anywhere (or plugged with something)

Well I'm pretty sure it was running to lean but after I pulled the carb off it started running rich, I'm going to check the vent line tonite to see if that is the problem, Thanks

Also does anyone know were I could find a printable diagram of the carb so I can check and make sure everything is back together correctly

Well I found the problem, I some how lost the needle valve, must have blown it out when I was cleaning the carb. I just ordered a new one so I should be up and running by Memorial Day. Thanks for the links, I would have never knew that something was missing and I probably would have taken it somewhere to have it fixed.
