85 LT250R - Loss of power??
I recently purchased a 1985 LT 250r. It has a twist throttle, has had top and bottom rebuilds. Chain and both sporckets are fairly new. tires are worn all around.
I was wondering about the power of these quads. Should I be able to bring the front end up? It seems like when I give it gas , motor revs and it gets going some, but back wheels don't spin like I THINK they should . Is this bike just not that powerful or do I have a clutch issue? Should I be able to bring the front end up for a wheelie?

I would definitely check the clutch, that would be a good start. I just ordered a new clutch for mine (87 LT250R ) on rocky mountain ATV with springs for 40$.
You are mixing gas right? also are you talking on the street or dirt. Mine will pull it up on the street in second, dirt no way.
Also how is your power band when you rev it up? Some people change a lot on these bikes for various reasons through different owners. Check your sprockets too, I think the correct ones are 12 in front and 42 in the rear. also check to make sure you have the correct plug in there (B8EGV),
