Default Web cams or hot cams?

i was wondering if i should go with web or hot cams. i figured the best research was to ask people for their opinions. Anyone know the cost for web cams? Any comments are much appreciated.

i have a web cam in my bike and i love it. nice power difference. i suggest you also get valve spring kit from web cams if you go with them also. and they are relativly cheap.

one difference you need to think about is you buy hot cams new with no core charge and web cams you have to send your stock cams back as cores. they're both great cams, you can get different web cams for your motor not like hotcams. I run hotcams and they work great for me, I like being able to keep my stock cams in case i have a problem so Im not stranded waiting for a new cam

actually for a ltz400 you dont need to send your core back you can if you want it to be cheaper but web cams offer a brand new cam for that bike.

I just dyno'd two Yoshi 450z's. Both ported by the same builder running the same carb. One did have .5 higher compression then the other though. The Web cams were barely better and it was only in the mid range. The othe Yoshi has the old style hotcams.. I have dyno sheets of both on the Z400 site that is called central under the user name Sandstorm..
