alrighty, my friend just got a 98 banshee, 382kit, fmf pipes, mikuni carbs, etc., etc., etc. I have rode it its quick. Is there any possible way i can beat it, besides dumping $2k into a 510 kit etc. ? or should i get rid of my 400 and get a 'zilla? thanks.

 

1) no.
2) yes. or do everything you can to your 400...then you might beat it. or put a 700cc streetbike engine in it and skull drag him. or turbo the 400 motor. anything can be made to beat anything. all it takes is $$$$

the banshees ive seen in the woods are pretty good when we went fourwheelin one time, my dads friend has a grizzly 660 and he took it up a hill and made it seem easy, no one else with us could get up it. there were bumps and rocks and roots comin out of the ground every where. and the banshee made it look even easier. but yeah in a drag, the banshee woud win. its like a mustnag verses a ferrari. both are fast, but the ferrari is faster

 

better strap a bible to that Z....

I beat a banshee with my z250 one time. he didn't know I was racing him tho......

 

well i raced him. 3 races. 300ft drag on pavement. 1st race we tied i 'toted' the front left wheel for about 50 ft. 2nd race he got me by about 2 lengths, during the start my front end came up and pulled hard to the right, i got off the pavement. 3rd race was perfect. I sat on the tank and pulled him by 2 lengths. I call it a tie but i still beat him. not bad for an old z400.
