try starting in first then shifting into second and third and so on. although it maybe kinda hard to shift through the gears with it being an auto-clutch. but if you want to do them in a higher gear try bouncing all your weight on the front end then pull up as you lean back. some people find it easier to stand up instead of sitting down.</end quote></div>
^thats what i do to ride in 2nd and 3rd, but i dont go from a stop, but i stand up

if you want to go from a stop put your bike in neutral then put it in first but hold it not letting it ingage. it should stay in neutral temporaroly until you release it. rev the motor up a little bit and drop it in gear as you pull up. doing this will shorten the life of the gearbox but its a way to do it. my neighbor has been doing this to his timberwolf for over a year and occasionally he'll have trouble shifting.

you just put it in first and rev it up about 1/2-3/4 throttle, and pop the clutch assuming the 250 suzuki is a normal clutch machine. I know the 250ex and popping the clutch in first gear works great and i weigh about 275 and can do wheelies all day on a 250ex and my z400 is even worse, i can ride wheelies in 4th and sometimes 5th gear, but i start the wheelies in 2nd most times, but it has the grunt to pick up second and third just driving it in trails. The z250 shouldnt have any problems doing wheelies. You can also try left foot on the footpeg and foot under shifter and right leg on the seat and have your right foot in the rear grab bar. That overcame my fear for doing wheelies with the quad straight in the air. Lean up a little over the handlebars if you are afraid you would loose your balance before popping the clutch. Just work the throttle once its in the air, and eventually you will be able to be shifting gears and riding wheelies.

if u practice your timing, you can easily get it up in 2nd by throwing your weight back a little and opening the throttle up, then just play with the throttle. i can do it very easily and i weigh only like 140 pounds.

they are not to hard to do just start off in first get good at then then just keep goin tell you reach 5th my buddy has one he can pull his up in any gear and his clutch slips real bad but he is also like 190 lbs.

okay, just put in in 5, and drive to a suzuki dealer, and buy a z400!!!
problem solved lol
either that or more logically, put it in 1st and it will put u right up when u stand and pull. then slip it in 2nd. the higher the gear the less jerky it will be so u can balance easier
