Default Artic Cat/Eiger Engine

A friend tells me that AC 400 and the Eiger have the same engine. Anybody know ?

I believe that they do. I think that the Suzuki has more HP with a different cam and different carb. Not exacly sure about that but they are the same engine.

I was told they are the same engine Suzuki makes all AC engines...

Default Artic Cat/Eiger Engine

Arctic Cat makes the 650H1, Kawasaki made the 650V2, Arctic Cat will be making a 366 to replace the smaller machines in the 250-300 4x4 class. Artic Cat will be making the 700 and 950. Which means the Suzuki will supply the 400 and 500, they used to supply the smaller engines (250 2x4 class) but someone else is doing that now, but I can't remember who.

Default Artic Cat/Eiger Engine

For 2008,
Arctic Cat makes their own 360, 650, 700, and 950 engines
Suzuki supplies the 400 and 500 for Arctic Cat. EXACT same, with the same carb and cams, etc.
Kawasaki used to make the 650 V2 for the 2004-2006 Arctic Cats

Suzuki owns about 40% of Arctic Cat.
