Which 440 kit is better, Athena, Wiseco or JE? Who is running any of these and do you recommend them? Also to throw a twist, I know I asked this before but since they have been out longer, what about the 453 kit?
Thanks in advance

Oh, I forgot to mention I already have an ESR airbox eliminator kit and WB Pro 2 aluminum full exhaust system installed. What kind of gains can I expect from this setup with a 440 kit?

my bro has a 440 kit in his honda 400ex i belive its weisco, just make sure when you order it you get the correct comp ratio, because if you unn 13:1 u have to run race gas, my bro runs race gas the machine runs like crap if you dont but you get a ton of power, in 3rd he can rev it up and dump the clutch and tip over backwards. Id use weisco theyve been around for ever

athena makes a great kit for the 400. I run a JE piston in my 440 with the stock cylinder bored. I'm not to fond of weisco. I had a 470 kit before but blew it up 3 months ago and I was running 13.5/1 compression. remember anything over 12.0/1 compression you have to run race fuel and that gets expensive, you will gain alot of power from the 440. you wont be sorry
