Suzuki King Quad 2005- stalling problem
#1
Hi,
My father has Suzuki King Quad 700- 2005 in Finland. Since it was new it has have a problem of stalling when warming up. When cold, the it starts moreless okay. When the engine warms up idling starts to totter and consequently engine dies. Then it does not start anymore, when trying and trying exhaust bangs and it sounds promising but wont start.
Our conclusion is when such problem appears (and it happens all the time), to let it cool down some 15min and then it's likely to start up again. This is obviously very annoying as it's scary to go anyway far with the quad.
Local Suzuki dealer has tried fixing it 3 times now adn seem to have no idea what to do? Neither does official Suzuki importer in Finland take any responsibility on it.
Has anybody experienced anything similar? It sounds to me like electronics -problem but would not like to spend money on new ECU without getting some recommendations from you guys? If it's to do with ECU, I guess it would make more sence to buy programmable ECU as replacement.
Your comments are highly appreciated...
Best regards,
