New King Quad
#1
Being a novice rider, and not concerned with speed in excess of 30-40 mph I decided to go with the King Quad. I know all you big bore people are laughing but too me with the High/low/superlow, and 2wd, 4wd, difflock can go just about anywhere, just not as fast as you. i got it with a 48 in cycle country plow, and the superwinch X1 (incentive 49.99 for the winch) I haven't found anything that I can't plow through with this thing, and if it starts getting too deep I just throw it in low or superlow. I have to get used to the 5 up shift patter as I'm used to motorcycles 1 down 5 up but it will come with time. Is there anything I need to watch for?

mutpup,
congradulations on your new King.It should supply you with many yrs of fun and enjoyment. Now I was wondering if you had a 2000 or 2001 model? If so,do you know if Suzuki changed the drum style brakes around?Im asking because the King was very notorious for poorly sealed/leaky drums prior to 2000.Someone in this Forum told me that Suzuki changed the drum seals around for the 2000 model King and it[leaky drums/debree] is no longer a problem. Thanks and Happy New Yr,
Bill
