Make sure your carb boot didn't pop loose when it backfired.

 

my quad has been backfiring for a good time now
but im going to check it out when i fix it
because i have a stage one and two jets for it
and another question
do you have o have stage on in before you put in the second one
it doesnt say in the kit

 

isnt stage one just for slipons with the lid on and stage 2 is lid off with full exhaust??


backfiring when? when you let off or at random times? sounds like your running lean and burnt it up
