Zilla owners please help
#1
Guys Iam bringin my old zilla (87) out to a race this weekend the organiser wanted some ppl to bring along their pre 88 machines for a display.
Anyway long story short I coulDnt get a main jet I needed, I drilled out one for the weekend but I am not sure if my zilla is gettin too hot or not. Plug is not white but after say 10 min in my yard doing a few doughnuts and driving up and down, you would not hold your hand to the barrel.
Q is do your zillas get this hot after about 10 min of fairly hard riding?

Well,
How hot is hot?
Seriously, get a water temp gauge like mine.
Then you will know exactly how hot it is.
Over 190 is not good, but alot of it depends on airflow thru the radiator.
High load and low speed is the worst case.
