Default LT-Z50 restrictions

Have just purchased one of these babies and after having been using LT-A50's and the older LT-50's am not impressed with the speed and power these new 4-strokes develop.

There must be something restricting it as it certainly doesn't go as fast as a unrestricted 50A.

Sure, the thing gets going (eventually) but it hardly has any bottom end and doesn't seem to rev clean past a certain point.

Also the guy that sold it to me gave me the wrong manual so I can't read up about any restrictions these bikes have from stock.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to wake the thing up a bit please?

I have been following the previous threads about these new Z 4-strokes with regards to the CDI units not being up to much. I'm not in a position to mess around with these but just want to do all I can to open them up a bit.

Is there anything on the carb, air box or exhaust that I need to know about?

What's this about messing around with something in the transmission by tightening the belt up or something?

I want to purchase some Z90's soon but I've heard they don't go over 15mph top end. When I'm used to the LT-80 doing about 40mph flat out I can't be having that....

Any help from anyonw with more experience with these bikes than me, please get in touch. Also if anyone knows where I can buy a Z50 manual from I'd really like to know,

Thanks everyone.
