Default raptor 350 compared to Z 400

I have a raptor 350 right now and im looking at getting a suzuki z400 or kawaski kfx or the artic cat dvx.

What are the big changes going to be. How much more power are we looking at? I mostly do fast trail riding is this a good bike for me? Hows the suspension?

Sorry about all the questions just wanted to make sure this quad is going to be right for me.

The difference is pretty big ....

My Wife has a Raptor350 and I've ridden it several times.

My z400 will pretty much blow right by it going through the gears. Much different power delivery, as the DOHC gives it that hi revving mid range hit. the 350 makes all it's power down low and benefits from short-shifting, while the 400 likes to rev out..... it pulls best from mid-to-high.

The z400 suspension is far superior, more travel and more adjustable. Outside of the 450s and the Raptor700 SE the z400 has the best stock suspension you can get on a sport machine. It is also wider than the Raptor350 and handles much better.

The 350 is a nice little trail machine, my Wife loves hers. But the z400 is a step up on performance. It is one of the best all-around ATVs on the market.

Agreed with above. Only i feel like I sit a lot higher and narrower on the LTZ then on a Raptor. but thats because mine is +6 in the front and +2 in the rear.

I would recoment the DVX, I have one, and it'll keep up with 450's, easy. and There's only about 500$ into it. I've riden almost every other sport quad out there and by far the dvx/kfx/z's handle the best. I know this will sound kinda wack but i can beat out a Z with more done to it, by about 2 lengths. and Mine isn't even re jetted yet.
