Is it the front brakes or the rear that are locked up?
My rear brakes locked up after alot of mud. Found tons of grit and junk in the drum, but more importantly, the S-cam was so grungy, it was what was causing the majority of the problem... Had to take it all apart to get it working again... but works like new now! No parts needed, just a cleaning..
Front brakes... I havent been there yet.. but Ill be there soon myself..

If your front pads are completely wore out it will let the caliper piston come out to far and get cocked. If that happens the brakes will continue to grind. Get new brake pads remove the caliper and compress in back in with the bleeder open. Might have to straighten it up to get in back in.
