Default WHOOPS!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright- i attempted to become my own machinist with the help of an extremly good one and tried to port and polish my head. i went a little toooo deep at one point and went straight into the water jacket. He wasn't there when i did it so its basically all my fault(i know). This is on a 04 Z400 by the way. i was in the process of getting it tig welded back up by a welder that welds small aluminum daily for his job. he welded and gave it back to me to clean up a lil bit so he could finish and in the meantime i got short noticed to come over here to iraq. my question for you all is does anybody know where i can get a new head with out giving a butt load of money to suzuki?? also anybody got any ideas to do to it once i get back and have time to finish it? all help would be great. thanks

Not a new one, but check out ebay. At least the price will be cheaper than a dealer.

Default WHOOPS!!!!!!!!!!!

actually the ltz's head flows very well the way it is, very little needs to be removed to gain any appreciable gains. to much and it can go the other way.
before i did mine i talked to Ron hamp he said there is a danger of doing what you did, sorry Do Do happens . he kinda talked me out of having him P&P it, what he said would really work is if the valves were +1 and a then bit of clean up ,but i was looking at 2 month wait at that time . what i ended up doing was more of a port matching in to the header and as well on the intake boot
(between the carb and jug), no regrets for my part.
