Default 86 lt 250r rear shock pressure?

Hey does anyone know what the rear shock pressure should be? I measured mine and it was 37.5 psi, but it bounces like a pogo stick the first 2-3 inches of travel. I bought the bike used and don't know if the shock is toast or just needs more pressure. Any help would be great, thanks.

I just had mine rebuilt by works, they put in 210 psi, but remember there filled with nitrogen not air, air is corosive ruining shocks

Hey f250r, thanks for the info. I have access to nitrogen, but I'm curious what it cost to rebuild your shock?
