Another forum newbie here....

I'm thinking of buying a used 300 King Quad. The guy isnt sure what year it is, (he's the second owner) and the frame plate was damaged, making it unreadable. I was thinking it might be a 1999 model, but its blue, and according to another site I was looking at, the 99's were only offered in green and beige...and that particular site doesnt offer any info on models older than a 99. It looks identical to the 99 models, but I wanna be sure before I lay out that much jing. The thought even crossed my mind that the machine may be "hot", because there is no title either.

Anyone have any insight?
