The 4 bolts you loosen on rear swingarm to allow for chain tension adjustment... A couple were really tight. I managed to get one out with impact gun. The bolt was really stripped.

So should I be able to tap out the old hole? And if so, anyone know the size/pitch of that hole? ( I don't think my tap will be long enough either).

Should I remove all 4 and put some never-seize on them?

What should they be torqued at?

On the bolt's 2 of the 4 are shorter. The 2 shoter one's that came out of the break side the manual say's 53ft-lb the longer ones which came out of the sprocket side manual say's 72.5ft-lb...

If I remmber right I think those bolts just screw into nuts that are welded on the bottom of the swingarm If you dont have a rear skid plate those nuts see alot of crap under there ya might want to put something on them....

If you tip the Z on it's rear grab bar you should beable to get @ those nuts..

thanks zbutcher. maybe I can just replace the nut end on the swingarm, if worse comes to worse.

the nuts are not welded on the swingarm.

they are on removeable plates. so if u stripped one u can just replace the plate.

the 4 main bolts are torqued at 72.5 ft lbs. if you messed up the bottom plate suzuki will be the place to get a new one unless you have a used bike parts store around you. amd the bolts are 12mm I think not sure what pitch the threads are or how long
