I have noticed that my front exhaust pipe is glowing orange when I am riding. I just talked to a local dealer and they said because I have a titanium pipe that is normal. I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem. Thanks

 

I have noticed the same thing on my 2001 Quadmaster 500.
I took it apart to give a good cleaning and took it for a ride aroud the block at night time and my neighbor thougt I had put some kind of light near the engine.
Exhaust glowing brite orange.
I questioned the local Suzuki dealer and he said in would be normal with a single walled pipe and some machines tend to run on the hotter side. Did not say anything about Titanium but I have never had any problems with the machine.
Interesting observation though, if you get any other answers please let me know.
