Default King Quad - Two -up

Picking up my KQ 700 tomorrow and will be riding 2-up with the wife (low speed). I like the looks of the Tamarack boxes and am considering the deluxe lounger or a box with a backrest. Does the KQ have enough room on the stock seat for two comfortably or is a built in seat the way to go.

Any experiences are appreciated.

the tamarack is great. one thing u need to really think about is foot pegs for the rear rider! you can make a pair really easy. if youd like i can show you some pics and give a few tips.

I assume you are speaking of the deluxe lounger then? I would be interested seeing your footpeg setup!

yes, the deluxe, its well worth the money and your wife will like the fact that she has a comfy seat with handles. i will get some pics of the pegs for you. to make them, if u have a small welder and few shop tools, takes about an hour.

one more thing tiger, if you are running over sized tires, stiffin up your rear shocks so u dont scrub your fenders. it'll still ride great.

I would also like to see the set-up of footrests. And some more redneck accessories that are homemade.

After trail riding with my Wife for the first time this weekend I can say that the King Quad seat is definitely larger than the Grizzly 660 and has enough room for 2. I think that I will look at the Tamarack Titan Cargo Rest.

tiger, have u tried the type that has the padded seat that goes on the rack? to me it seems to give you more control with the passenger sitting back off the driver a bit. you have more body movement and the other rider isnt tugging on you. just my opinion, and mite not be worth much
