Put the piston at TDC, either with a screwdriver down the sparkplug hole or by lining up the "T" mark on the flywheel with the stationary mark on the case. There should be an inspection hole for finding the "T" mark. Then make sure the cam lines are parallel to the head. If so, its timed right. If not, then loosen the chain and skip teeth until its right.
