I have a 07 Z400 that I am getting ready to make a couple changes to. I am installing a Motoworks SR4 pipe, a K&N air filter and problably opening up the air filter cover and putting an Outerwears cover over the opening. Is there anyone who can help me with the changes in jetting on it afterwords ? I have read it's a waste to get a jetting kit, just to get the jets I need. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

165 main, either leave the needle alone OR get some small washers from a hobby store & shim it up a little, turn fuel screw out until it doesn't backfire on decelleration.

 

Yep, much cheaper to pick up just the one jet you will use than a whole range that you wont.
