I have a '98 LtF 500F (absolutely amazing bike) but the fenders (particularly the rear) and getting worse for wear...Only bad thing I can say about this bike was the stupid guards on the fenders...every stick it caught seemed to pull the things apart and ultimately my fenders started to break.
I am in the process of overhauling the bike - not that it needs much work -and would like to replace the fenders to make it look good again. Only problem is, I can't seem to find any, or at least any that are even close to affordable.
If anyone has any suggestions or contact, particularly in Canada, let me know.

Looks like it will cost you around $450.00 to replace both. You can get them at cheapcycleparts.com.
