Dude, you need to slow down alittle with this historic piece of equipment. I can appreciate your enthusiasm (sp) but you need to think about how much money you are going to spend on this older machine. 1000.00 to fix up plus 400 for snow plow = 14 weeks of your pay. My advice is to find a newer cheaper quad that will not take all your money to own. Buy one for 2000.00 ride it for a couple of years, save up your 100.00 dollars a week. Three years from now sell your quad for 1400.00 add 2000.00 to it and continue to upgrade.

Also, somemore advice FIND A BETTER, MORE PAYING JOB you cant continue on 100.00 dollars a week. Unless you are still in school.

I dont think so.... The book says LT230SF, G & H = Mikuni VM26SS. All other models = VM24SS.

I put a plow on my bayou and plow up 3-3.5 inch trees! I'd say the 230 has more torque. So, it should be ok for you to put a plow on it.
