hello im looking at buying a 2001 suzuki quadmaster 500 from a older gent who is selling one, he wants 3500.00 for it, has 400 miles on it looks like new told me he only used it at his cabin to go to deer blinds, i have never owned a suzuki and sure could use some help with this guys, any bad or good things about this quad would be appreciated. thanks

 

I just resently purchased a 2001 quadmaster 500 in November.
In very good condition, clean oil, the normal scraped and scratches, and in need of tires.
Had 1700 miles. I know the guy I purched the quad from and was only used to ride on a constructon site.
I paid him $2700 for the machine, (he also thriough in the loading ramps) and then $220 for ITP tires off the internet and $20 each for mounting.

I couldn't be more pleased with the quad. It runs like a top.

It has plenty of power, and will do just under 50 mph. Articals I read claimed not to much in the hp but lots of torque.

This thing will climb a tree!

I have put about 65 mile on it and I love it.

there junk iv'e had 3 of them the front diff. go after 2,000 miles and they dont like water

 

just wondering if they are such junk why you had 3 of them? I dont buy the same things if the first one was a piece usually maybe give a second a chance....but not 3 of them...i have no complaints with mine when it was running i bought mine from blm though and it has alot of miles and i knocked the tranny out of it still runs first try though....i paid 2300 for mine with 2800 miles...wish i woulda shopped around though
