just bought a ltz 400 with a weisco 440 13.5 to 1 compresion big bore kit, k&n filter,yoshi slip on exaust. when i dive into a corner and down shift it dies. thanks for your help

 

do you know what jetting you have ? what carb ?

 

i have the stock carb. and i'm not shure what the jeting is set at

 

THis I need an answer to myself.

 

would it be possible that you could find out which jets are in it ,it sounds fuel related. does it matter which way the turn is made? does it make a difference if the tank is is full. does it do it all the time or just once and awhile?

Does it backfire when you let off the gas from a fairly high rpm? If so, your pilot is too lean. Makes sense if you have a stock carb and have no idea about the jetting. The KN will make it lean.

 

i'm sorry i've been working alot. we got a foot of snow so i havent had time to check the jet size. i will do this tomarrow. thank you for all your help.oh yea i don't think that it back fires
