Default ltz400 or 400ex

Which one is better and faster ltz400 or 400ex and what is the top speed of them both stock thankz.

I don't know the top speed exactly but the z400 is much faster and handles better.

I would say the z is quicker, but top end is mainly controlled by gearing. The sprokets can be changed to add quickness or top end.
But for stock gearing, the z is quicker to 60. My 400ex will do 60, flat out on the dirt roads, clocked by GPS.

this was my same question for some time but i figured out that the z is a all over better machine it is quicker and handles better and has way better stock suspention but the hondas 400ex motor is bullet proof.......
the ex would only outdo the z in real tight and technicall trails

I love my kfx400 and I'm really a Honda man. The only way a ex will outdo a z anywhere is a lazy rider on the z.
