LTZ-400 CHOKE STUCK PLEASE HELP!!
You have to unscrew the nut where the choke cable goes into the carb. Then you have to pull the plunger out of the carb, this can be difficult because they get stuck this is whats causing your problem. When you get it out take some very fine sandpaper and clean the brass plunger be careful do not mess up the rubber tip also use the sandpaper to clean the hole the plunger goes in.Use automotive sandpaper about #800 grit.Blow any debris out of the hole put a little oil on the plunger making sure it moves freely. Then screw it back together. If you need a breakdown of the carb go to MCmart.com in the carb diagram the plunger is part#26.If you like you can just buy a new plunger.

LTZ-400 CHOKE STUCK PLEASE HELP!!
Thanks for the advice but, I actually found out the choke is not stuck it is working properly. The reason that I had thought the choke may be stuck was that I took it riding the other day after installing a k&n filter. It ran fine for the first hour or so, then we were bombin down a road and it really wanted to bog down in 3rd and when you came to a stop it would die. I pulled the plug and the plug was black which is usually a sign that it is running too rich...may it just be a sign I need to rejet it because of the k&n filter? If so any ideas which jet i should bump up too?

LTZ-400 CHOKE STUCK PLEASE HELP!!
Most of the time when you go to an high flow filter such as a K/N you get a lean mixture this is from more air combined with the stock jet size, which will result in overheating and a white plug. What you are describing is just opposite of what should have happened.
